Genmark Automation Opens Portland, Oregon Office
New Branch Office Creates Training Center, Added Support for Area Customers

SUNNYVALE, CA – (June 27, 2002): Genmark Automation, Inc., a leader in tool and factory automation solutions for the global semiconductor industry, today announced the opening of a new branch office in the city of Portland, Oregon. Genmark significantly expanded its physical facilities recently, adding a new 53,000 square-foot building for manufacturing “clean products” in Milpitas, California.

“Our new Portland office will provide technical support for our existing relationships in the area and serve as a training center for customers as well,” said Greg Liebersbach, Technical Support Manager. “We have been expanding and improving our facilities at a rapid pace to maintain the levels of service and efficiency our customers have come to expect from Genmark.”

The Technical Support Department is headquartered at Genmark’s corporate offices in Sunnyvale, California in the United States. Worldwide operations include the company’s European Division based in Germany, as well as offices in Bulgaria, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Israel.
