POSITION:               APPLICATION ENGINEER

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the implementation of company products to customer applications
  • Analyze customer layouts, performs simulations as far as material transfer is concerned
  • Develop application specifications and provides the respective update for the company information system (Part number, BOM and Configuration)
  • Perform application programming on specialized high-level robot-oriented languages (MCL)
  • Perform on-site installations, system setups, troubleshooting and limited repairs onsite as well as in the office.
  • Develop documentation related to the functionality, usage, calibration, maintenance, user-programming and troubleshooting of the company product
  • Develops product technical specifications and specifications for the particular customer implementations
  • Perform system setup and macro programming of demo units for marketing purposes
  • Provide direct, phone and email support for new and difficult applications
  • Supports various engineering design activities
  • Serve as liaison with customers to resolve problems and inquiries
  • Provide customer on-site and in office training


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experienced (Non-Manager)
  • 5 to 7 years of experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Robotics or Industrial Automation background

POSITION:               SALES ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for direct sale of company products or services to accounts within an assigned geographic area or industry segment
  • Calls on prospective customers and provides technical information and/or demonstrates company products.
  • Provides quotes for customers
  • Responsible for account development or maintenance.
  • Other duties as specified by sales department

POSITION:               FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER

DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as customer contact on technical, operation support and field service related issues
  • Provides on-site installation, system setup, calibration, testing, onsite repairs and preventive maintenance of company’s products and equipments at the customer site and in the regional office
  • Provides work summaries in a form of Service Report of activities and issues noted during a service call. Creates and maintains ticket case for every technical support and service issue
  • Provides daily activities report to manager on weekly basis
  • Assists sales department in communicating features, benefits, mechanics and operation of new products
  • Performs training for customers to maintain, operate and adjust company products
  • Promotes service contracts and organizes specific parts to fulfill arranged service contracts


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Required travel up to 80%, domestic and international, may travel on short notice and trip duration may be up to four weeks, travels overnights and weekends
  • Experience in industrial automation , servo control, mechanical and electrical experience and excellent customer service skills
  • Minimum of 5 years related experience in Field Service Engineering
  • B.Sc. Degree or equivalent

POSITION:              MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes in industrial plant: develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
  • Provide immediate engineering support to Manufacturing, developing and maintaining consistent product documentation (work instructions, assembly instructions, test procedures, quality check procedures, etc.).
  • Design fixtures and instrumentation to facilitate the manufacturing process and develop pertaining documentation to assure the desired performance, quality and reliability of the product.
  • Communicates with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards. Estimates production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
  • Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes. Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
  • Bring the product from design stage to production. This includes active participation of the manufacturing engineers in documenting and building alpha-prototypes of newly designed products. Their participation will be in concurrent fashion with R&D Engineering.
  • Responsible for the release to production and built of beta and gamma (pilot) series of newly designed products.
  • Manage and execute the ECR/ECO process in collaboration with the Document Control Group.
  •  Interfaces with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of product improvements and/or new products.  Drives manufacturing engineering PLC deliverables.  Launches, releases, approves and implements or issues engineering change requests as required to support design engineering and floor with new and existing products.
  • Estimates manufacturing costs, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements.  Leads teams across multiple functional groups in the use of DFx principles to reduce product costs and improve delivered product quality.
  • Develops and uses test procedures, including assisting with the definition of test specifications with design / software engineering.  May work with test engineering on the design and development of text fixtures.  May assist in the coordination of test fixture sourcing activities.
  • Participates in the preparation of concept and feasibility studies.  Gathers operational test data and evaluates results; manages corrective actions.
  • Evaluates work methods, procedures and policies.  Identifies, documents and implements new business processes and efficiency improvement tools.  Mentors and trains lower level engineers; identifies training needs, updates training curriculums, and develops training programs.
  • Leads Process Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis when working with New Product Development.
     


REQUIREMENTS:

  • The incumbent must be experienced in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, CIP, 5S, BOM management, Sequence of Events SOE), Operational Method Sheets (OMS), line design & line balancing,  Poka Yoke, Design for Assembly (DFA),  Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Ergonomics (DFE), SPC.
  • Experience in Semiconductor Capital Equipment, Robotics, Automation, High Vacuum Systems 
  • Requires strong problem solving, project management and team skills.
  • Requires strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Project
  • BSME, BSEE, BSIE, or equivalent
  • 5+ years related experience in product design and manufacturing engineering.
